MobileH2O's Z-Style manually regenerated softener with salt storage, has a 16.0 Kilo-grain (16,000 grains capacity) Point-Of-Entry (POE) Mobile-Soft-Water conditioner 0.5 Cubic Foot Size. Conditions water of Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Lead, Radium, and other Heavy Metals found in wells and some municipal water. The MSW1017-M-16S-Z-0 requires 10-3/8-inch-wide, by 10-3/8-inch-deep by 21-5/8-inch-tall installation space. The connections are a ¾” JG Push-to-Connect PEX tubing connection and a ¾” JG Push-to-Connect PEX tubing connection. The John Guest PEX connectors require Type B PEX tubing. The tank will contain 0.5 cubic feet of highly charged high-capacity water-softening resin. This unit can treat up to 5 gallons per minute of supply water with a 10-grain Total Hardness load to 0 soft conditions on a continuous base up to 1000 gallons of conditioned water. We supply all new equipment and components with a one-year limited warranty on materials. The system is complete. The equipment description and related shipping information are as follows: A. The softener vessel is a 10-inch diameter fiberglass reinforced plastic pressure vessel designed for 150 psig operating pressure, B. The tank head is a two-piece molded PVC assembly with a 1” removable plug port where salt is added during the regeneration process. Under the cap is a resin screen provided to retain the softener resin when the softener is lying on its side during shipping. The body of the tank head includes a ¾” O-ring sealed, removable distributor adapter, C. The 13/16” OD distributor tube/resin screen is fixed to the tank head adapter and extends into the pressure vessel to the bottom of the resin. This tube allows normal flows with a slightly lower pressure drop, D. The inlet connection is a female ¾” John Guest PEX fittings rated for NSF 61 service, designed to connect with type B PEX tubing. E. The outlet is a female ¾” John Guest PEX fittings rated for NSF 61 service tubing connection, designed to connect with type B PEX tubing. F. The Softener includes a 304SS caring handle, G. 0.5 cubic feet of Sodium form cation resin 8% cross-link styrene softening resin is loaded into the tank, K. The conditioner is placed into a shipping carton. And includes, L. Installation, regeneration, storage, and media replacement guidelines and instructions. M. Installation space, minimum is 10-1/2” Wide, 10-1/2” deep, and 21-5/8” tall.
